What's it like to be Shaun White? The product of a Southern California childhood, Shaun has become the poster child for what kids want to be when they grow up. Sorry firemen, policemen, doctors and lawyers, kids want to ride.
From playboy playmates to Rolling Stone's pages, the Hollywood Hills to Olympic Halfpipes, Shaun has taken snowboarding and skateboarding and brought it to the top of the global podium. And Shaun is familiar with being at the top of the podium. In 2007, Shaun staked claim to some of the biggest wins of his career and moved himself and snowboarding into a whole new level of shredding! Here is a bit about Shaun's in his own words.
Q: What does it mean to be a snowboarder?
A: It's about having fun, with your friends or by yourself. It's about pushing yourself to try new things and do the unexpected. Finally, and most importantly, it's about being creative.
Travis Rice
| Hometown: Jackson, WY | |

| Stance: Goofy | |
| Sponsors: Red Bull, Quiksilver, Nixon | |
Travis Rice is either clicking in or checking in. If he’s not on a snowboard, he’s at the airport. In either element, his confidence is striking. A triple-threat with equal self-assurance in slopestyle, halfpipe, and big air competitions, sportswriters have declared him the best overall rider in the world. And with a personality that is as huge as his tricks, Travis Rice has literally become the rider to watch – on snow and on screen. Having devoted nearly the entire 2004/05 season to producing and starring in a revolutionary new snowboarding film, The Community Project, Rice is hardly a traditional competitor. But, due to contest results and video segments, Faces magazine included him on their list of the "Twenty Greatest Athletes Now."
